Is God in the center of your holidays? Easter’s coming up! How do you make it about God? Or is it focused around other man-made traditions? It’s easy to get caught up in society’s traditions and let God take back seat. I say this from experience.
If you’d like your holidays to be centered around God, but aren’t sure how to start, then I recommend the reading of Putting God Back in the Holidays. (I’ve previously reviewed it.)
Win Putting God Back in the Holidays
Giveaway open to US residents, ending 04/30/2011, at midnight, central time.
Mandatory Entry:
- Enter to win by sharing your plans for this upcoming Easter. (If you find this giveaway after Easter has past, then tell me how you spent your Easter.)
My family’s Easter plans consist of attending services and dinner at church, then visiting family. I’m not sure if the kiddos will participate in the egg hunt at church. Sometimes they have a hunt for the older kiddos, so we’ll see.

We’ve been doing some resurrection crafts, like a “hill of Calvary” with dirt, an empty coffee cup, stick crosses, and grass seed. Sunday itself will be low key – I want to make resurrection rolls for the first time, and we’ll just hang out, watch a couple of meaningful videos, etc.

We had a wonderful Easter! My grown son and my sister (who both don’t attend church) both joined us for Sunday service and then we had a large dinner with my family and my in-laws all together! It was great!
Thanks for the opportunity to win this book, it looks very interesting!
