Welcome to This Mom’s Delight!
I don’t think I’ve introduced myself to you. I had written a short ‘About This Mom’ page, but added to it this morning.
So, if you’re dying to know, here’s a little about the girl behind the words written here.

I am Tami aka “This Mom”, a 30-something wife and mom who loves the Lord and her family.
I’ve been married since July 1995. We’re reaching 15 years. The beginning was rocky, but our marriage has made a tremendous recovery, all credit to God for His intervention! Thanks goes to my hubby, too, for putting up with me!
Our kiddos are growing up way too fast! Our son 13 years old …. ahhhh, a teenager in the house! Our daughter is eleven.
I thank the Lord for the gift of salvation, which all four of us have accepted!
We live in Oklahoma. I work outside the home. I’d rather be at home with my kiddos, but am very thankful for the income that is provided by the job I go to every weekday.
I love to blog and read blogs. This is where I get a lot of my motivation for reaching my goals. Also, this is where I’ve made friendships that have really blessed me! (A working wife and mom doesn’t have much time for outings with local friends.)
My theme Scripture in this stage of my life is Psalm 37:4, in which I based my blog’s name and content on. I’ll be blogging about the God-given desires of my heart, which come from delighting in the Lord! I do delight in my family and in other things, such as reading books, blogging, and making paper creations.
“Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” ~Psalm 37:3-5
